The Whitehead Institute and Dept of Biology at M.I.T. are seeking an outstanding scientist for a tenure track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. We are interested in candidates who are pursuing fundamental problems in molecular, cellular, or organismal biology, including vertebrate and invertebrate systems. Areas of interest include but are not limited to development, genetics, and disease models. A successful applicant will be expected to develop a significant, independent research program and to share our commitment to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education.
